Job Description:
We are seeking an AEM Architect to provide technical leadership and governance across the multi-year program. The AEM Architect will define the target architecture, guide development teams, and ensure scalable, secure, and compliant AEM solutions that align with industry best practices. The role requires deep AEM expertise, hands-on design/implementation capability, and strong stakeholder management skills across business, technology, and quality teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end AEM architecture (Sites, Assets, Integrations) for 60 brand/product websites.
- Lead the migration from AEM on-prem to AEM Cloud Service, ensuring compatibility, scalability, and performance.
- Should have strong .NET experience.
- Define component strategy and governance – consolidate legacy components into a modern, reusable monorepo structure.
- Collaborate with API architects and cloud teams to align AEM front-end with Azure- hosted APIs and services.
- Design and enforce content governance, tagging strategy, metadata models, and authoring workflows.
- Establish coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies (Cloud Manager, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Work closely with QA/Automation teams to integrate test automation, accessibility, and performance testing.
- Ensure security, privacy, and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, pharma-specific regulations).
- Support operations by defining monitoring, logging, and optimization practices (Adobe Monitoring, Azure App Insights, Splunk).
- Mentor developers, review designs, and ensure adherence to best practices in modular development.
- Partner with business and product owners to translate requirements into scalable digital solutions.
