Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade Java applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and database development. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code following best practices.
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Required Skills
- 8 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA.
- Strong experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Strong SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Gradle.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
- Experience working in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Redis, ElasticSearch, or Apache Camel.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and API Security.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture.
- Java certifications are a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
