The Commercial Cleaning Technician is responsible for performing daily cleaning services according to assigned checklists and company standards, ensuring client facilities remain clean, sanitary, and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists as assigned.
- Perform general cleaning duties including:
- Dusting and surface cleaning.
- Vacuuming and floor care.
- Trash removal.
- Restroom cleaning and sanitizing.
- Prepare and use cleaning solutions according to safety guidelines.
- Safely operate cleaning tools and equipment.
- Clean offices, warehouses, medical offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Maintain a professional attitude with clients and team members.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Report supply needs, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Complete additional cleaning tasks as required by the client or supervisor.
- Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions and checklists.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Good time management and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required (training provided).
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
This role is physically active and requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
- Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Use hands and arms continuously throughout the shift.
- Tolerate exposure to approved cleaning chemicals.
