Full-Time Orthodontic Assistant
Location: High Tide Orthodontics, Mount Pleasant SC
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday (4 days/week on average), 8am–5pm — no weekends!

What You'll Do
- Assist the orthodontist chairside during patient appointments (bonding/debonding brackets, placing and adjusting wires, changing elastics, etc.)
- Take photos, x-rays, and impressions/scans as needed
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Educate patients and parents on appliance care and oral hygiene
- Keep patient records accurate and up to date
- Help keep the office running smoothly — a team-first attitude goes a long way here
- Create a warm, welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors
What We're Looking For
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
- X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Friendly, upbeat, patient-focused personality
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working with kids, teens, and adults alike
- Reliable, punctual, and a genuine team player
