Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a FedEx-assigned Class A tractor-trailer for linehaul routes (terminal to terminal, no residential deliveries).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle.
- Safely transport packages and freight to and from designated FedEx terminals.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs using ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal personnel.
- Represent the company and FedEx with professionalism at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years (or meet FedEx waiver criteria).
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) and background check.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and reliable work ethic.
- Doubles/Triples endorsement (or willingness to obtain).Triples endorsement (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with FedEx Ground or another linehaul carrier.
- Knowledge of ELD and GPS-based routing systems.
