Substitute Teacher (26 - 27 School Year) We are consistently and actively hiring for Substitute positions. High Tech Elementary Mesa Reports To: School Director FLSA Classification: Certificated Full-Time/Part-Time Status: Hourly, part-time, non-exempt Regular/Temporary: Temporary Salary: Hourly $23.46/hour Application Open: 4/27/26 Application Closing: 7/30/27 Under the general supervision and guidance of the School Director, Teachers are responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students. Their duties include assigning homework, grading tests, and documenting progress. Teachers must be able to command their classroom and reach students with an engaging project-based curriculum. Teachers are responsible for creating and maintaining a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential and accomplish the learning goals of High Tech High.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - A valid California K-12 teaching credential. This may include a 30-day Substitute Permit or a Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave (TPSL).
