Pay by role:

• Drivers: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience (a CDL is a plus, not required), about $62,000 to $68,000 per year including overtime

Pay is per hour and set by your experience.

Annualized figures reflect the full-time 12-hour rotation including scheduled overtime and will vary.

The Opportunity

HighTec Industrial Services is building a dedicated, around-the-clock team supporting an established industrial operation in North Dayton, just off I-75 at Exit 58, less than a mile from the interstate. These are stable, long-term positions on a single account. You run the same site every shift and you are not bounced from job to job. If you want dependable hours, a set schedule, and a crew you work with every day, this is it.

Positions Available

Drivers | $27.00 to $30.00/hour, based on experience

Operate a company straight truck with an automatic transmission, moving product within the plant. These are dedicated, intra-plant positions with no over-the-road work. Prior truck driving experience is required, and we will train you on our equipment and site procedures. A CDL is a plus but is not required. Your pay rate is based on your experience.

Schedule and How Pay Works

• This is a 24-hour, 7-day operation. Every position works a rotating schedule that includes weekends.
• Two 12-hour shifts: Day, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, or Night, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• The rotation repeats on a pattern that alternates a 36-hour week and a 48-hour week, averaging 42 hours per week.
• Rotating days off, with roughly every other weekend off.
• Saturday and Sunday are regular scheduled days and are paid at your regular hourly rate. There is no separate weekend premium.
• Overtime is paid at one and one-half times your rate for hours worked over 40 in a week, which happens in your 48-hour weeks.
• Standby time, when the plant is not running, is paid at your full regular hourly rate. It is not reduced.
• Training is paid.

What You Will Do

• Safely operate your assigned truck or wheel loader throughout your shift
• Follow all plant and HighTec safety, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements
• Complete pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and any required logs
• Coordinate with site supervision on production needs and status
• Keep a clean, safe work area

What You Bring

Drivers

• Prior experience operating a straight truck or similar heavy truck
• A CDL is a plus but is not required
• Acceptable driving record

All Positions

• Willing to work a rotating 12-hour schedule, days or nights, that includes weekends
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to complete required operator training and authorization
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including climbing into and out of equipment and extended periods of operating
