We are seeking a Truck Driver/Delivery Representative to join our team at High Steel Service Center in Lancaster, PA.

Truck Driver/Delivery Representatives are responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks related to operating a tractor-trailer to delivery company products to job-sites, customers and other various locations for Service Center.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to start at 4:00 am Monday - Friday and the ability to perform overnight trips up to two (2) days per week.

Areas Of Responsibility

• Ability to operate a tractor-trailer to delivery company products to customers
• Maintain and ensure that vehicle is good working condition, report any issues to High Transit supervision
• Ability to verify load accuracy and prepare load for delivery, including chaining down the load
• Assist in unloading of load as requested
• Maintain all required DOT documentation
  
  

Qualifications And Work History

• Valid CDL A driver's license and clean driving record, required
• 1 years of experience hauling a flat bed trailer, required
• Previous steel material hauling experience, preferred
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to run up to two (2) overnight trips per week
• Demonstrated ability in sound decision making process
• Ability to start early in the morning (2:30 - 4:00 am).
