We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Lead Associate to oversee and coordinate our shipping operations within a dynamic warehouse environment. Duties
- Daily shipping activities, including order picking, packing, and staging for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track inventory levels, process shipments, and update records accurately.
- Oversee shipping logistics, including preparing shipping documents, trade compliance documentation, and ensuring adherence to international trade regulations.
- Manage inventory replenishment through stock counting, data entry, and reconciliation using inventory management software.
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while optimizing space utilization.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipment issues promptly and provide tracking information.
- Maintain compliance with shipping & receiving protocols, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with a focus on shipping & receiving functions.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and software applications related to logistics.
- Basic math skills for order calculations, measurements, and data entry accuracy.
- Experience with international trade regulations and trade compliance is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external partners effectively.
