About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Crew Leader to lead a mowing and landscape maintenance crew in a fast-paced, quality-driven company. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows landscape maintenance, takes pride in a clean finished product, and can keep a crew efficient, accountable, and professional throughout the day.
The right candidate is dependable, organized, safety-minded, and confident leading from the front. You will be responsible for ensuring that each property is maintained to a high standard while keeping your crew productive and on schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise a mowing / maintenance crew on residential and commercial properties
- Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and general landscape maintenance
- Set the pace for the crew and maintain strong productivity throughout the day
- Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards
- Train and coach crew members on safe operation, workmanship, and efficiency
- Load, unload, and operate trucks, trailers, mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related equipment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report repairs or maintenance needs
- Communicate with management regarding progress, scheduling, property issues, and crew needs
- Maintain a clean, organized trailer and professional appearance on jobsites
- Enforce safety practices and company expectations in the field
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance is required
- Prior crew leader or foreman experience is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of mowing and maintenance equipment
- Ability to lead a team while also working alongside them
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking, and consistent
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience driving a truck and pulling a trailer
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
