POSITION TITLE: Teacher - Spanish (HS) for the 2026-2027 School Year
LOCATION(S): TBD
START DATE: July 27, 2026
JOB DESCRIPTION: Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual need of
the students. Display a thorough knowledge of the foreign language curriculum in Spanish.
Maintain prompt and regular attendance. Support the philosophy and mission of the Bartow County
School system.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia teaching
certificate in Spanish (6-12).
SKILLS: Excellent written and oral skills to communicate with students, parents, and
stakeholders. Physical demands include standing and walking a minimum of six hours a day; lift,
carry and pull up to 50 pounds.
EXPERIENCE: No previous classroom experience required, however, training in secondary classroom
environments preferred.
