Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) standards.

Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, respectful, and organized classroom culture that encourages student participation.

Assessment: Utilize diverse methods to evaluate student progress and use data to drive instructional improvements.

Collaboration: Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), faculty meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.

Extracurriculars: (Optional but encouraged) Opportunities to coach or sponsor student clubs and organizations.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education or a related field.

Licensure: Valid Arkansas Teaching License in Social Studies (Grades 7–12).

Skills: Strong communication, a knack for storytelling, and the ability to integrate technology into the classroom.
