Position Overview
Bay School District is seeking a dependable and qualified Secondary Science Teacher for the upcoming school year (2026-2027). This position would join our science department in serving students in grades 7-12. We are looking for a candidate who is strong in classroom management and capable of delivering curriculum across multiple science disciplines.
Key Duties

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Arkansas K-12 Science Standards.

Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment for practical experiments.

Monitor and record student progress, providing timely feedback to parents and administration.

Participate in required PLC meetings, faculty meetings, and professional development days.

Requirements

Licensure: Must hold (or be eligible for) a valid Arkansas Teaching License in Life/Earth Science or Physical/Earth Science (Grades 7-12).

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Background: Must pass all state-mandated background checks (FBI/DFA/Child Maltreatment).
