The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Flexibility in assignment which may include supporting specialized programs and/or supporting students with IEPs in general education classrooms, special education classrooms, and in the community (which includes but is not limited to: at vocational sites and on college campuses- to support students with working on independent living skills, vocational skills, recreation/leisure skills, and social skills). This position assists in the Integrated Language Arts classroom, which supports students with language-based learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience and/or interest in helping students with literacy-based academic tasks, including reading, writing, and analyzing text.
