Contract: 2026-2027 School Year (185 Days) JOB SUMMARY: Wynne High School is seeking a highly qualified individual to facilitate in school suspension. Under the direction of the Principal the ISS facilitator will provide supervision, instruction, and behavioral support for students assigned to in-school suspension and maintain a structured environment focused on accountability, academic progress, and positive behavior. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/LICENSURE/EXPERIENCE: 60 college credit hours or passing score on Praxis Parapro exam. Experience is valued; however, no prior experience is required OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of pre-employment background checks Appropriate personal and professional conduct at all times around students, other staff members and the general public To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment. Provide instructional support by ensuring students complete their teachers' classroom assignments. Communicate with teachers to obtain work and return completed assignments. Provide academic or behavioral assistance as needed to help students remain on track. Reports inappropriate behavior by students to school administrators Reinforce positive behavior and teach conflict-resolution and self-management strategies. Keep accurate attendance, discipline, and progress records. Escorts students during break/lunch periods and monitors hallways as appropriate Requests or assigns additional assignments if the student completes their regular classroom assignments Submit daily and weekly reports to the principal or designee. Participate in professional development related to classroom management and restorative practices. Ability to communicate with students, parents and school staff through email Ability to effectively interact with principals and other team members Maintain professional attitude and communicate professionally with all stakeholders Perform other duties as assigned.
