Custodian- (Amherst-Pelham Regional High School)

Responsibilities Include:
•Shovel and/or sand walks, driveways, parking areas, and steps, as appropriate.

•Vacuum classroom carpets daily and dust furniture.
•Clean corridors after school each day, and during the day when their condition requires it. •Scrub and disinfect bathrooms.
•Keep grounds free from rubbish.
•Keep all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation. •Remain on the school grounds during assigned shift hours.
•Move furniture or equipment within the building as required for various activities and as directed by  the head custodian.
•Other assigned duties as required to fill job-related needs.

Requirements also include:
- Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician.
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds on a regular basis
- Experienced in the use of custodial supplies, tools and accessories, including but not limited to floor  scrubber machines, buffers, stripping and waxing equipment, etc.
- Basic computer skills
- Acceptable Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI)
- Acceptable National Criminal Background Check, commonly referred to as a fingerprint check.

Position Type: Full-time, 7am to 3:30pm

Starting Salary: $18.28-$19.55 Per Hour
