Accompanist for Bella Voce Show Choir

POSITION SUMMARY:  Plays piano accompaniment for show choir rehearsals and performances.

QUALIFICATIONS:                      

• Proficient in playing piano accompaniments
• Proficient in sight-reading choral parts
• Ability to follow cues from the directors
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Professional Performance Criteria

• Accompany vocal music ensembles on the piano for both rehearsals and performances.
• Record accompaniments.
• Regularly practice to ensure accuracy and fluency.

Personal Performance Criteria

• Works well with others, maintaining positive and effective communication with school personnel and students.
• Ability to relate to all students regardless of needs and/or abilities.
• Contributes to creating a positive learning environment.
• Demonstrates ability to grasp and adjust to new and changing situations.
