What are the responsibilities and job description for the HRS- Utility Worker / Hatcher position at High Roller Sand, LLC?
High Roller Sand LLC, is looking for General labor / yard hand to work in our West Texas sand plant in Kermit, Texas. 7 days on / 7 days off, with housing supplied while on duty.
Position Summary
- Entry level job with opportunity to move up
- Outdoor work environment
- A lot of shoveling
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
- be able to pick up 50# repeatedly
- Inspect & perform work place exams
- Must be ready to learn new things Clean up work area
Responsibilities
- Must adhere to all High Roller Sand company policies and S.O.P.’s
- Must be able to hear, comprehend, and accurately relay information
- Must be able to repeatedly climb and descend stairs
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Must be able to withstand prolonged exposure to seasonal elements (heat/cold)
- Must act as a liaison between drivers and High Roller Sand
- Follow Hi Roller Sand / WP and MSHA safety regulations and guidelines
- Perform general housekeeping within the Loadout area
- Perform other tasks within the employees’ training and skills as directed by the plant supervisors and managers
- Hatchers report directly to an assigned Crew Leader, the Shift Supervisor
Education/Experience/Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively multitask.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team
- Bi-lingual/multi-lingual a plus
