What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/LPN/EMT position at High Point Surgery?
We are looking for a Medical Assistant, LPN, EMT or CNA to join our team. This position requires a self-starter with the ability to take initiative, strong computer skills, able to multi-task and critical thinking is necessary. We are open Monday through Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. We have weekly training, monthly staff recognition events and staff rewards. If you like working in a place where you don't watch the clock to go home this is the place. Spanish speaking is helpful, but not necessary.
We currently have full or part time positions.
Required to perform: (We are willing to train)
- Blood Draws, Injections
- EKG
- Collect accurate patient data including patient vital, height, weight, BP
- Reconcile patient medication list
- Answer calls related to medical issues and relay those issues to the provider if needed
- Perform in house Labs and test
- Cleaning of exam rooms after visits, sterilize medical equipment after use
- Assist during in-office procedures
- Call patients and follow up on orders, labs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
