About You

The ideal candidate has exceptional multi-tasking skills, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the shipping and receiving industry, a high attention-to-detail, and the ability to successfully manage their daily workload. This individual understands the importance of safety in the workplace, can work in an atmosphere that is not temperature controlled, and is physically fit. Has excellent communication skills, is a self-starter, can work independently and in a team environment.

Overview of the Position

Your role as a Warehouse Associate plays a crucial part in making each customers experience a positive one.

As a Warehouse Associate you play an integral part within our organization.
Your high attention to detail will ensure products are thoroughly checked and entered into our ERP system correctly, and our outbound orders are accurately picked, packed and shipped within the required time frame in order to maintain our excellent customer service standards. This environment requires individuals that are detail-orientated multi-taskers who are motivated and understand the importance of accuracy and time frames.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Shipping: Prepare outgoing shipments: pick and pack merchandise / Perform quality checks to ensure merchandise is correct, and packed securely
• Receiving: Crosscheck items to packing list / Label and place in designated area
• Assist/support other departments when needed
• Responsible for performing cycle counts as needed therefore driving inventory accuracy. Outstanding exploratory skills to resolve discrepancies
• Ensures the efficient and safe utilization of docks, and warehouse equipment
• Maintain warehouse by neatly and accurately organizing inventory, and discard excess shipping materials
• Daily clean up and restocking of workstation materials

Qualifications and Requirements:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and safely.
• Ability to organize and plan work adhering to priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to perform repetitive tasks
• Computer skills: Google Workplace, Slack, MS Word and Excel, ShipStation, NetSuite
• Pallet Jack operation

Daily Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly and repetitively lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and frequently and repetitively lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• The employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk for long periods of time; stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance.

Work Environment:

• Due to the nature of this position, on-site attendance is mandatory. No responsibilities of this position may be completed remotely.
• All warehouse team members must wear the appropriate protective equipment to accommodate the protection needs of the present hazard. All team members are required to work on, or in close proximity with, moving forklift and aerial lift trucks.
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be required to consistently meet deadlines in a work area that is not temperature controlled and will be exposed to elements such as, but not limited to: noise, dust, odors, fumes.
• Closed toe/closed heel work boots are required.

Pay Range: Starting rate $18.00/hour

After 3 months of employment: eligible for benefits / PTO

Work Hours: 9AM-5:30PM / Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays
