Wellness Director
We are looking for a qualified nurse to join our community and to promote residents’ health and wellbeing. You will work with a variety of residents and provide some direct nursing care, teamwork support and department day-to-day operations and tasks.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified Wellness Director of Nursing (RN or LPN) to join our team High Point Residence Taylorville. As the Wellness Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. Your leadership and expertise will be critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence in resident care and community wellness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active nursing license
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in long term care, assisted living and or supportive living
- Experience with electronic medical records
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the nursing staff and ensure the highest level and wellness for our residents.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff
Skills:
As the Wellness Director of Nursing, you will utilize your strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to oversee the nursing staff and ensure the highest level of care and wellness for our residents. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate patient records will be critical to your success in this role. Additionally, your experience in a leadership role and certification in a nursing specialty will be beneficial in providing guidance and support to nursing staff. Overall, your skills will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence in patient care.
