Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

About the Role

High Point Residence Pinckneyville is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. In this role, you will provide direct, person-centered care that supports the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents. Working closely with licensed nurses and fellow caregivers, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where residents can thrive.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.

• Record vital signs and accurately document resident care.

• Assist with medication administration as directed by a licensed nurse and within the scope of practice.

• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to residents.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

• Follow all infection prevention, safety, and resident rights policies and procedures.

• Work collaboratively with nurses and other team members to deliver exceptional resident care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in supportive living, assisted living, skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living.

• Experience caring for older adults or individuals with disabilities.

• CPR certification preferred.
