If you bring a “can‑do” spirit, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to creating unforgettable moments, we want to meet you!
As a senior leader on our team, you will shape the vision of our catering program—building strong partnerships, enhancing our brand‑to‑guest experience, and delivering events that truly exceed expectations. We’re looking for someone who loves making people happy, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and understands how exceptional service and thoughtful planning create memorable experiences.
As Director of Catering & Event Services, you will:
· Lead the planning, selling, and flawless execution of all private dining, catered events, and special functions.
· Build and nurture long‑term relationships with clients, partners, and the campus community.
· Collaborate with the culinary and marketing teams to create compelling menus, event packages, and promotional materials.
· Ensure all guest needs — from menu details to dietary requests and floor plans — are accurately communicated and executed.
· Conduct site visits, craft proposals, and finalize detailed contracts.
· Oversee Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with precision, ensuring approval and seamless coordination across teams.
· Maintain a strong network of external vendors to elevate guest experiences.
· Uphold brand standards while continually enhancing event spaces and service delivery.
· Lead a team of 50-75 staff, including catering managers, inspiring excellence, collaboration, and growth.
· Drive catering sales with a strategic focus on increasing revenue.
· Partner with culinary leadership on menu costing, pricing, and development.
· Ensure timely communication, professional event hand‑offs, and accurate payment processes.
The ideal candidate brings:
· 3–4 years of combined experience in hospitality, catering, and event planning — higher education experience highly preferred.
· Proven multi‑unit leadership experience with strong organizational, time‑management, and multi‑tasking abilities.
· Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills.
· A passion for delivering warm, personalized, and memorable guest experiences.
· Experience managing teams and driving operational excellence.
· Catering sales experience with a focus on strategic growth.
