Behavior Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team at High Point ABA, a boutique Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practice dedicated to providing compassionate and client-centered services. As a Behavior Therapist, you will provide high-quality behavioral intervention services to individuals with autism and related developmental disorders, and have the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA programs developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA's)
- Conduct direct, one-on-one therapy sessions with clients
- Collect and analyze behavior data to track progress
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including BCBAs, parents, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field
- Active RBT credential, preferred but not required
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow and implement behavior intervention plans
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors, and quickly move from a seated to standing position
