Master\'s Level Clinician Requirements Must always present as courteous
and professional; Maintains and submits any current Licensure or
Certificate necessary for the performance of the position; Demonstrated
flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks;? Must have excellent
communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical
and clear fashion;? Knowledge of basic computer skills and software
programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPAO Electronic
Health Record (EHR);? Must have the ability to work with others in a
cooperative and collaborative manner;? An understanding of the

self-help programs;? Understand and maintain therapeutic boundaries;?

Completion of the HPAO crisis de-escalation program;? CPR

Responsibilities Crisis intervention; Maintain assigned caseload;
Providing direct care to patients/residents ? including assessments,
individual counseling, discharge and aftercare planning, treatment plans
and updates, weekly progress notes, daily groups facilitation, group
note completion, and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments; Making
referrals when appropriate; Responsible for each assigned
patients/residents? medical records. All records are to be professional,
complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manner; Responsible
connecting patients/residents with aftercare services prior to discharge
and aiding the resident and his/her family access services when
appropriate; Communicating/involving family in treatment at
patients/residents\' request; Attend and participate in all unit,
facility meetings, case conferences, Treatment Team meetings, and
mandatory trainings, as directed by the Clinical Supervisor/Director;
Responsible for continued education in the field of substance use,
mental health and related courses; Always utilize standards precautions;
Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients as defined
by the patient?s rights. Outpatient Services Specific Duties and
Responsibilities Providing clinical services to patients ? including
required assessments, individual/family/couples counseling, group
clinical services, discharge planning, treatment plans, progress notes,
and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments; Responsible for each
assigned patients\' medical records. All records are to be professional,
complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manner; Completion
of all required external clinical communications including court/DCF/DMH
monthly compliance reports, evaluation summaries, other requested
external documentation; Ability to provide clinical services through
in-person and telehealth modalities; Responsible for linking patients
with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding the patient and
his/her family access outpatient services when appropriate; Attend all
identified meetings, MDT meetings and case conferences as directed by
the Clinical Director; Attend mandatory trainings and seek opportunities
for clinical growth through certification; Maintain professional license
in good standing, as applicable; Responsible for contacting the
insurance company for authorization, as needed; Demonstrates behaviors
