What Youll Do
Provide psychopharmacological services, including prescribing
medications in accordance with written protocols.
Conduct psychiatric and physical assessments, history-taking, and
differential diagnoses.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient.
Monitor patient symptoms and medication side effects.
Serve as the primary point of referral for medical evaluations.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Offer crisis intervention and management of chronic mental health
issues.
Educate patients and families on prevention and treatment.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications
Masters Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
APRN licensure in the State of Kansas as a Psychiatric Nurse
Practitioner or Psychiatric/Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) designation.
Proficiency with modern technology (e.g., computers, EMRs, telehealth
platforms).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
