What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager of Supportive Housing & Community Partnerships position at High Plains Housing Development?
Position Summary
The Manager of Supportive Housing & Community Partnerships serves as High Plains Housing Development’s primary on-site representative at StarRise at North Weld Village. The position is responsible for coordinating the network of organizations working at StarRise and helping ensure that housing, supportive services, security, and community partnerships work together effectively to support housing stability and the long-term success of the community.
This position is responsible for partnership coordination, program monitoring, grant compliance, reporting, and community partnerships. The Manager will maintain regular communication among StarRise partners, monitor commitments and program outcomes, identify gaps or concerns, and help ensure issues involving multiple partners are addressed by the appropriate organization.
The Manager will also coordinate information needed for grants, funding compliance, program evaluation, and organizational reporting. This includes monitoring supportive service reporting and working with service providers to confirm that eligible services are appropriately documented and billed through available funding sources, including Medicaid.
This is not a direct service or case management position. The Manager will interact regularly with residents and should understand the principles of permanent supportive housing, but clinical services, case management, property management, and security remain the responsibility of HPHD’s professional partners.
The successful candidate will bring both compassion and accountability to the position. HPHD is looking for someone who believes in the mission of permanent supportive housing, can build strong relationships with residents and partners, and is equally comfortable working with data, grants, reports, deadlines, and program requirements.
This is a grant-funded pilot position with funding currently secured for two years. Continuation beyond the initial grant period will depend on future funding, program performance, and organizational needs.
