Media Specialist/Editor

We are seeking a Media Specialist/Editor to support communications, outreach, and knowledge dissemination for FHWA infrastructure research programs. This role ensures technical content is visually engaging, accessible, and compliant with federal standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop graphics, layouts, and visual materials for brochures, reports, and websites.
• Create presentations using charts, images, and design elements.
• Support video, poster, and digital content production.
• Apply writing and editing skills to technical and training documents.
• Ensure Section 508 compliance for all deliverables.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Media, Communications, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with graphic design and presentation software.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards.
