Job title: AIC - Generalist
Job description: The AIC is responsible for supporting the shift, assisting other AIC’s and management, and supervising a shift alone in case of an emergency.
Responsibilities
- Assist management with assigned tasks
- Communicate any issues in workflow or staff to management
- Ensure dispensary is clean and organized
- Assist with IDFPR and ISP inspections
- Accept deliveries with accuracy
- Create shells in the POS for new products
- Help upkeep store displays
- Maintain organization of the vault
- Continue development toward the shift supervisor position
- Coach team when needed based on our 95/5 policy.
- All other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Training/Certifications
- Cannabis related certifications, courses, or trainings preferred
- Must have a complete understanding of the federal, state, and municipal rules and regulations regarding the sale and consumption of cannabis
- Must complete all trainings provided by management
- Must complete yearly training requirements, including Responsible Vendor Training and other courses provided by High Haven.
Skills and Experience
- Experience as a Budtender in IL
- Experience with cannabis products in IL
- Knowledge of basic cannabis retail workflow
- Experience as an AIC in IL preferred
- Demonstrates ability to multitask during high traffic times
Physical Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Schedule and Availability
- Regular Hours: Full time hourly position, including evening and weekend hours
- Additional Hours: Additional hours may be required in the event of staff shortages or special events

- Employment at High Haven is contingent upon passing a background check and obtaining a Dispensary Agent-in-Charge Badge from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). This is a mandatory requirement.
- Note: IDFPR will not issue a badge to anyone with a felony or violent crime conviction. They also will not issue a badge to an employee with outstanding tax or child support obligations.
