- Operates various equipment such as loader, dozer, excavator, haul truck, skid steer to run materials through a wash plant or dry screener.
- Performs equipment maintenance.
- Inspection and production reporting as required for work area and equipment.
- Keeps equipment and work area clean.
- Performs plant maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Adheres to MSHA regulations and is conscious of preventing violations.
- Must be willing to work according to the company's product demands.
- Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations.
- Responsible for reporting all incidents/injuries to management as soon as they occur.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of a valid driver license
- Clean/safe driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
- Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, twist, frequently life up to 50 pounds, stretch, drive/sit
- Must have excellent attendance records and be punctual
- Ability to work well with others on the team and have a positive attitude
- Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State and Federal regulations
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work; Saturdays and nights may be required
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment and parts regularly
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be comfortable with working in awkward positions or cramped spaces
