Join a rapidly growing local detail business as a Seasonal Mobile Auto Detailing Technician and bring your passion for vehicle care to life! In this energetic role, you will deliver top-notch auto detailing services directly at our customers’ locations, ensuring each vehicle looks pristine and feels fresh. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in auto detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating, and customer service while working outdoors and on the move. (Our goal is to make this a year-round position if we get a shop location operational by this winter. If not, this position is expected to last until November)
Pay is $16/hr during training period (1-2 weeks) and then $17.50/hr to start with weekly bonuses based on volume.
Duties
- Assist with hand washes, drying, interior and exterior detailing, vacuuming, cleaning floor mats, and various other detailing related tasks
- Equipment set-up and tear down at each job site.
- Use professional tools and products to clean and restore various vehicle surfaces efficiently and safely
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle’s needs and explaining completed work
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency on every job site
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining mobile rig
Experience
- Prior experience in car wash, detailing, or custodial work is preferred but not required; This is an entry level position with opportunity for growth!
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and working outdoors in various hot and cold weather conditions
- Familiarity with cleaning products, detailing tools, and basic vehicle maintenance procedures is advantageous
