JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Function
The Celebrations and Event Coordinator is responsible for coordinating youth and adult Birthday and Event experiences at High 5. The Celebrations and Event Coordinator works as part of the event coordinator team and is also responsible for hiring, training/coaching and scheduling High 5’s Party Pros and event staff as well as preparation and execution of all birthdays and events.
This Coordinator is responsible for representing the High 5 Brand and working with the Sales, Event Coordinators and Marketing team to increase party sales, revenue and overall satisfaction.
The Coordinator's job duties include:
Driving new and return birthday party sales, and upsells, through proactive outreach (emails, phone calls, post cards, etc.) and networking/trade shows when appropriate;
Working with and assisting the Marketing Team and Sales Manager in pursuit of monthly/quarterly sales goals that grow and maximize overall birthday party revenue;
Working with Sales Team on coordinating times of birthday parties with group event bookings;
Working with Operations and Food & Beverage to ensure flawless execution of all birthday party events at High 5;
Ensuring all event food order selections to the Kitchen Manager no later than 72 hours before the party;
Keeping all birthday party supplies fully stocked and organized;
Ordering, stocking, maintaining, and inventory of High 5 Prize Counter
Creating memorable guest experiences by maintaining guest focus while driving and enhancing improved guest satisfaction at the parties;
Tracking and reporting party surveys to the GM to ensure the best possible service is being given; talking with parents or attendees when necessary.
Attending and engaging in weekly meetings as directed by the Sales Coordinator;
Promoting and conducting High 5 site visits and tours for prospective clients to sell the High 5 birthday experience;
Representing the High 5 Brand with professional appearance and demeanor;
Identifying any hurdles preventing birthday party sales growth;
Position Requirements
Some experience working with/managing young adults.
Proficient in computer software, including Excel, Microsoft Word, and CRM (account management).
Skill in time management, planning, problem solving and prioritization.
Outgoing, with strong people connection/engagement skills.
Adaptable to business and team needs.
Ability to work evenings and weekends to get the job done well.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to focus on necessary details of birthday party sales.
Managing and verifying personal commission and expense reports to the GM.
This position is hourly, with full time availability and commissions on booked events
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
