About High Five Behavioral Health
High Five Behavioral Health is growing, and we are looking for exceptional licensed psychotherapists who want to be part of building something meaningful.
We believe behavioral healthcare should be personal, accessible, compassionate, and centered around the individual—not simply the number of appointments completed in a day.
High Five is expanding from psychotherapy into a more comprehensive behavioral-health organization, bringing together therapy, psychiatric services, medication management, and coordinated behavioral healthcare while preserving the personal relationships that make mental healthcare effective.
We are looking for therapists who share that vision.
The Opportunity
As a High Five psychotherapist, you will provide individualized psychotherapy to patients while working within a growing behavioral-health practice designed to support both the patient and the clinician.
Our therapists have the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships while High Five works behind the scenes to support scheduling, insurance, billing, technology, compliance, and practice operations.
We want our clinicians spending their time doing what they do best:
Helping people.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral-health assessments.
- Provide individual psychotherapy based on each patient's clinical needs and treatment goals.
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
- Diagnose behavioral-health conditions when permitted within your professional license and scope of practice.
- Maintain timely, accurate, clinically appropriate documentation.
- Conduct appropriate suicide, self-harm, violence, abuse, and other safety/risk assessments.
- Establish appropriate safety plans and follow High Five's escalation procedures when necessary.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, applicable Florida confidentiality requirements, professional ethical standards, and High Five policies.
- Coordinate care with psychiatric providers and other healthcare professionals when clinically appropriate and properly authorized.
- Recognize when a patient's needs exceed your scope or the capabilities of the outpatient setting and facilitate appropriate referrals or escalation.
- Participate in case consultation, clinical education, and quality-improvement activities.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Help create a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free environment for every High Five patient.

Depending upon the therapist's education, experience, competence, licensure, and scope of practice, our clinicians may work with individuals experiencing concerns including:
Anxiety Depression Trauma PTSD Grief Relationship Challenges Life Transitions Stress Panic Mood Disorders Self-Esteem Family Challenges Other Behavioral-Health Concerns
We believe treatment should be individualized rather than forcing every patient into the same therapeutic model.
Why Join High Five?
We're not trying to build a therapy factory.
We are building a behavioral-health organization where excellent clinicians can practice excellent therapy.
As High Five expands, we're developing an environment that provides clinicians with the infrastructure and support necessary to focus more of their attention on their patients.
Our vision includes expanding access to psychotherapy while adding psychiatric and medication-management capabilities, allowing appropriate collaboration across the patient's behavioral-health journey.
Joining High Five during this stage also means becoming part of the organization while we're still building it.
We want great clinicians to have a voice in what High Five becomes.

Specific compensation and scheduling expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
What We're Building
High Five's mission goes beyond filling appointment slots.
We want a person who reaches out for help to find a clinician who listens, understands, and cares about what happens next.
As we grow, we intend to expand access to therapy, recruit exceptional clinicians, develop psychiatric services, strengthen our relationships with insurance carriers and healthcare partners, and create a behavioral-health organization capable of helping substantially more people without sacrificing the human connection at the center of mental healthcare.
If that sounds like the kind of practice you want to help build, we would like to meet you.
