About the Role
As Executive Chef, you will oversee all back-of-house operations, drive culinary execution, and collaborate closely with leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You’ll lead a high-performing team in a refined, high-volume setting, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across every plate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all kitchen operations with a focus on made-from-scratch execution and fine dining standards
- Maintain and implement systems for prep, inventory, sanitation, and quality control
- Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled culinary team with strong retention practices
- Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless service
- Manage labor, food costs, and scheduling within budget targets
- Conduct regular tastings, line checks, and team meetings to uphold standards
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations
Ideal Candidate
- 5 years as Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in upscale, scratch-kitchen environments
- Proven ability to lead and inspire large kitchen teams under pressure
- Expertise in classic techniques, modern plating, and seasonal sourcing
- Strong operational acumen in food costing, inventory, and kitchen systems
- ServSafe certified (or equivalent)
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
