High-End Freight LLC is seeking a reliable and experienced 26-foot box truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, while maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for pick-ups and deliveries across designated routes.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring secure and damage-free transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries.
- Handle goods with care and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any issues or concerns professionally.
Qualifications:
- Valid State driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience operating a 26-foot box truck or similar vehicle.
- Knowledge of local and regional routes is a plus.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy items as needed.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have an active DOT MED card
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Comfortable with long hours of driving and varying weather conditions.
