Friday and Saturday - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Behavioral Health Private Practice
We are a growing, multidisciplinary behavioral health private practice providing psychiatric, psychological, and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. Our team includes psychiatrists, PMHNPs, psychologists, therapists, and clinical support staff working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinical team in Murrieta, CA.
Position Overview
The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management, within a supportive, team-oriented practice environment. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and strong administrative support so providers can focus on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with best practices
- Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR
- Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and other providers as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in clinical consultations and care coordination as needed
- Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards of care
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted PMHNP license
- Current DEA registration
- Eligible to practice independently (or under applicable state guidelines)
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Comfortable working with diverse populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care
