What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Therapist position at High Desert Family Services?
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth, adults, and families? We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality therapeutic services in a supportive and collaborative environment. (Part time and contract positions are also available). Salaried position $60,000-$72,800 per year or hourly at $55-$60/billable session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and family therapy to clients of all ages
- Develop, implement, and regularly update treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely session notes and documentation
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support client progress
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Active NM counseling licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPCC, AMFT, LMFT, etc.)
- Valid Driver's License, Pass background checks
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no evenings or weekends!)
