What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver (Independant Contractor) position at High Desert Distribution?
We are looking to fill two route positions, which are opening up soon. They are both in Bend and are on Wednesdays. However, we meet the truck (which comes in from Washington) in Redmond around 9am on Wednesdays. You will be delivering magazines and newspapers to businesses only. As an independent contractor you will use your own vehicle. and be responsible for your route. We may be able to cover your route if there's availability. The company pays $25 towards gas, and the routes typically takes 4 to 6 hours with a minimum pay of $150, although the routes pay more depending on the week. Because of the volume of publications, a small to mid-size SUV is needed.
