Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, ensuring that all areas are spotless and welcoming. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must have a drivers license with a reliable vehicle. Candidate should be mobile enough to climb flights of stairs when needed and lift heavy items.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or seasonal tasks And move out cleanings.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns related to cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or custodial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 25 pounds as necessary.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is a plus.
- Must have availability from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Please no students.
