Duties
- Perform routine oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections with precision and efficiency
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and light mechanical repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance procedures according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bay to promote safety and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Support the team with heavy lifting of vehicle parts and equipment to ensure safety standards are met
- Promote sales of additional services or products by understanding customer needs and offering suitable solutions
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with dealership or service center policies
Experience
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred, especially in quick lube or light maintenance roles
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in an automotive setting
- Service technician experience that demonstrates strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Customer service background that highlights effective communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of automotive service procedures including oil changes, tire service, and general vehicle maintenance
