Position Overview
This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Executive Director and working closely with the Board of Directors.
You’ll own all financial operations across the organization, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while serving as a strategic advisor on financial planning and long term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, reporting, and compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Prepare and present financial reporting and insights to leadership and the Board
- Ensure accuracy across general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial systems
- Maintain compliance with audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external partners
- Oversee grant reporting and ensure compliance with funding requirements
Qualifications
- 6 years of accounting or finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Nonprofit experience preferred
- Experience with grant funding, including federal and state, preferred
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and compliance
