Accounts Receivable Specialist - Hybrid
About the Role:
Located in the I-70/I-25 corridor of Denver, our client is a leading distributor of access control and perimeter security products. They are looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to their accounting team. This person will help maintain healthy customer accounts, support daily AR operations, and ensure accurate, timely collections.
Responsibilities:
- Make proactive outreach to customers regarding outstanding invoices while maintaining strong, professional relationships.
- Monitor the AR email inbox and respond to customer inquiries; escalate issues when appropriate.
- Review customer accounts to identify late payments, discrepancies, and other billing concerns.
- Process online credit applications and support verification of customer tax status.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer data, including contacts, addresses, and account details.
- Assist with distributing invoices, statements, and other AR-related documents.
- Maintain strict confidentiality surrounding customer and company information.
- Support the accounting department with special projects and additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of accounts receivable or collections experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
