What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Dog Groomer position at High Country K9?
LEAD MOBILE DOG GROOMER
Franklin / Nashville / Williamson County, TN
$1,700 weekly draw 100% of your tips. Company van. No salon.
If you still want a shop — cages, double-booked doodles, a front desk that overbooks you, and someone hovering over your table — keep scrolling.
This is not that job.
High Country K9 is hiring a Lead Mobile Groomer. You get a fully equipped company van. You groom one dog at a time in the client’s driveway. No cages. No other dogs screaming in the next kennel. Nobody looking over your shoulder.
The deal
- $1,700 weekly draw so you’re not guessing what Friday looks like
- You keep 100% of your tips
Who this is for
You’re already a real groomer. You can finish a full groom without a senior standing next to you. You’re tired of salon politics. You can drive a Sprinter. You don’t need to be babysat. You want to make lead money without opening your own shop and buying a $100k van.
Who this is not for
- Bathers calling themselves stylists
- People who need a manager to tell them when to start the dryer
- Drama. We don’t do it. We don’t hire it.
Requirements
- 1 years professional grooming (mobile preferred, salon refugees welcome)
- Can complete full grooms start to finish on mixed breeds, doodles, and doubles
- Valid driver’s license clean record
- Calm with reactive / anxious dogs
- Reliable. If you flake, don’t apply.
If that’s you:
Send (1) 3–5 photos of recent grooms, (2) years of experience and whether you can start in the next 2 weeks.
Text or email. Serious groomers only. We will move fast for the right person.
