ASME Code Welder - Vessel Fabrication
Welding and fabrication of ASME Code Piping and Pressure Vessels
- Dependability with regard to work schedule and consistent attendance on a primarily M-F work schedule (start / stop times to be negotiated with Foreman). The position will require some schedule flexibility for pre and post-shift overtime and weekend work as production schedule dictate
- High School Diploma / Equivalent or Technical Training Preferred
- Experience with SMAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW welding processes
- Minimum ability to pass a 1G Fillet Weld and Open-Root, Two-Sided Welding Tests
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- HICO will offer training and mentoring in required job skills
- Experience with different material types would be preferred (carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, etc)
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- All employees will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing in accordance with Company policy
- Starting pay will be dependent on experience and will be adjusted after a probationary period based on job performance
- Position will have opportunity for performance-based profit sharing depending on Company performance.
