Role Description
The Superintendent is a full-time position. This role involves overseeing daily operations on construction sites to ensure timely project completion within budget and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing crews, coordinating construction activities, monitoring safety compliance, communicating with project stakeholders, and problem-solving to address operational challenges. The Superintendent will play a critical role in ensuring efficient workflow and effective leadership of construction teams.
Qualifications
- Experience in underground utilities, specifically water supply, sanitary sewer and storm sewer installation and associated appurtenances.
- Must be able to travel in the extents of Wyoming to project location.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate construction crews.
- Thorough knowledge of construction methods, processes, and safety standards relevant to heavy construction projects.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction equipment and tools, including understanding operation protocols and maintenance.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Previous experience as a Superintendent or in a similar leadership role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A valid driver’s license and the willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
