High Concrete Group is currently searching for a Quality Control Intern for the Summer of 2026. The Intern will support QC staff and gain hands-on and resume-building experience in their field.
The QC Intern will shadow Form Inspectors to observe how a project transitions from paper to build. They will also spend time in the concrete lab to observe how concrete is tested and if mix designs are good or bad. They will have the opportunity to be involved in pre-pour, post-pour and concrete testing. This is a great opportunity for an inquisitive, "hands-on" student who wants to be exposed to all facets of a concrete project and see results right before their eyes!
This is a Monday- Friday, 1st shift paid internship, located at High Concrete in Denver, PA.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or associates degree with a major in engineering, carpentry, construction management or CIM Program
- Education level: Sophmore going into Junior year or Junior into Senior year
- A fast learner, who is self-driven and can drive a project independently.
- Previous experience in a trades, construction or manufacturing environment preferred but not required
- Strong ability to jump in and participate in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Attention to detail, flexibility, and good communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
