Headquartered in Lancaster, PA, High Construction Company is searching for a Construction Management Intern who will support our preconstruction, project management, and field management teams.
The goal of this position is to expose students to all facets of a general contractor - spending a portion of the internship with each department. Future employment could be an assistant estimator, assistant project manager, or assistant superintendent.

General Description

The goal of this position is to expose students to all facets of a general contractor - spending a portion of the internship with each department. Future employment could be an assistant estimator, assistant project manager, or assistant superintendent.
Qualifications And Job Duties
- Pursuing an Associates/Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field
- 1 years of construction related experience is preferred
- Competency in Microsoft software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated competency in handling job details, organization, and ability to work independently
- Assist preconstruction team with estimating, including but not limited to bid solicitation, take off, and preparations for transition of project into operations
- Assist preconstruction team with purchasing including but not limited to scheduling de-scope meetings, minutes, subcontractor requests, and subcontract preparation. Prepare A401 scope sheets.
- Assist project management team with project submittals, RFIs, and documentation
- Assist project management team with scheduling and change orders.
- Assist project management team with billing including but not limited to receiving and approving subcontractor bills, preparing owner bills and associated backup required.
- Assist field management team with inspections, daily logs, and three-week lookahead schedules.
