**Job Title:** Arborist Foreman with CDL

**Location:** Sewanee, Tennessee

**Position Overview:**

High Canopy LLC is seeking an experienced Arborist Foreman with a CDL (Commercial Driver's License) to join our team. As an Arborist Foreman, you will lead a crew of tree care professionals in delivering exceptional arboricultural services while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Training opportunities will also be provided as part of this role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Lead and supervise a team in tree trimming, pruning, removal, and related tasks.

2. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide top-notch tree care solutions.

3. Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, skid steers, and aerial lifts.

4. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies.

5. Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures.

6. Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders, time sheets, and vehicle inspection reports.

7. Drive company vehicles, including trucks with trailers, to job sites.

**Compensation:**

The compensation range for this position starts between $28 and $50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Out-of-normal service hours emergency work pays double time.

**Qualifications:**

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in arboriculture or a related field.

2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.

3. Proficient knowledge of tree care techniques, equipment operation, and safety measures.

4. Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented approach.

5. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

6. Willingness to travel to different job sites within the region as required.

**Preferred qualifications**

1. ISA Certified Arborist

2. CDL

3. TRAQ

4. TN Applicators Certification

5. Crane operator certification
