Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Electrician role based in Antioch, IL, with some flexibility for work from home when tasks such as documentation or planning can be performed remotely. The Electrician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including service upgrades, panel replacements, EV charger installations, and backup power systems. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics, running conduit and wiring, installing fixtures and devices, and ensuring all work meets applicable electrical codes and safety standards. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, diagnosing root causes, and providing effective solutions while maintaining clear communication with customers, project managers, and team members. The Electrician will also complete required documentation, maintain tools and equipment, and support a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism on every job site.

Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical theory, including safe work practices and applicable codes.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work for residential, commercial, or industrial settings, including installation and wiring.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems, panels, circuits, and equipment.
- Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts as they apply to system layout, load calculations, and equipment selection.
- Current electrician license or journeyperson status (or equivalent) in Illinois; additional certifications are a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Commitment to safety, adherence to NEC and local codes, and proper use of PPE and tools.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to job sites in and around Antioch, IL, and ability to work on ladders and in varied site conditions.
- Effective communication skills, customer-focused mindset, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
