Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at a vape store. The ideal candidate will handle cash transactions accurately while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts and refunds
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
- Bag items carefully for customers
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area and the store
- Be available for a 12 hour shift every Monday
- Perform product demonstrations when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or vape store setting is preferred
- Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with patience
- Good phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.44 - $14.00 per hour
